McLeod Ganj

Bhagsu Waterfall

Namgyal Monastery

The personal monastery of the 14th Dalai Lama, part of the Tsuglagkhang Complex in McLeod Ganj. Visitors can watch monks in maroon robes, spin the prayer wheels, and take in the peaceful courtyards set against the Dhauladhar peaks.

Triund Trek

One of the most popular short treks in Himachal Pradesh, climbing through pine and oak forest to a grassy ridge with front-row views of the Dhauladhar range. It can be done as a day hike from McLeod Ganj or with an overnight stay at the top.
